About Helen O'Grady Malta

Meet The Teachers

We are extremely proud of its teachers. Our award-winning curriculum is excellent, so we ensure that we have equally brilliant teachers to implement our programme.

Our selection process for teachers is extremely stringent. We are meticulous when it comes to background screening – including police conduct reports and references from previous employers, as well as qualifications. Our teaching staff are certified first-aiders

All teachers follow a rigid training programme before final accreditation by the Academy. Because our teaching techniques are constantly developing, training is an on-going process and seminars and workshops are held before each term begins to ensure that we are always at the top of our game. Teachers are supervised throughout the scholastic year.

We do all this to ensure that our students get the very best! And their parents have peace of mind, knowing that their children are in safe hands.

Rebecca Galea
Drama Teacher

Rebecca graduated in B. Ed (Hons) and has been teaching children and young people for the past 4 years. She has been interested in the performing arts, particularly theatre, ever since she can remember. As she has a science background, she is always finding ways of combining science and arts together.

She is currently training to become a professional actor and have recently taken up a scriptwriting and directing role. She also loves jamming with her guitar and creating music.

For Rebecca, the drama curriculum of Helen O’Grady has an innovate and well-structured approach at bringing out the fun, creative and imaginative side of the children and provides them with the tools they need to develop into the bright, confident and positive people that they are… it’s a wonderful experience teaching them :)
