BLOG POST: Safety first Malta, Helen O'Grady Drama Academy Malta

BLOG POST: Safety first

25th September 2020

We would like to reassure parents and students that we are taking ALL measures as recommended by the Health Authorities to keep the Helen O’Grady Academy as safe as possible.

Our classes last one hour and are, by their very nature, cluster-based, plus we will be implementing a sanitization process before each class.

We successfully operated the Fun Factory Summer School which ran for 4 hours daily in July and September with our safety measures with zero infections.

As children get ready to return to formal schooling, we must stress the importance of creative education for sound development  as well as the mental well-being of our children.

Indeed, rather than calling what we do extra curriculum, it would be more fitting to refer to what we do as crucial or enhanced curriclum because we teach life skills such as Critical thinking, Communication, Creativity, Collaboration, Kindness, Empathy and Confidence.

The Helen O’Grady Academy will be opening its doors for the new term on 5th October.  We will be adhering to all safety measures as recommended by Professor Charmaine Gauci and adding a few extra ones of our own which will be integrated into our lessons in a fun and sympathetic way.
