Meet The Teachers

We are extremely proud of its teachers. Our award-winning curriculum is excellent, so we ensure that we have equally brilliant teachers to implement our programme.

Our selection process for teachers is extremely stringent. We are meticulous when it comes to background screening – including police conduct reports and references from previous employers, as well as qualifications. Our teaching staff are certified first-aiders

All teachers follow a rigid training programme before final accreditation by the Academy. Because our teaching techniques are constantly developing, training is an on-going process and seminars and workshops are held before each term begins to ensure that we are always at the top of our game. Teachers are supervised throughout the scholastic year.

We do all this to ensure that our students get the very best! And their parents have peace of mind, knowing that their children are in safe hands.

Kyra Chetcuti
Drama & Dance Teacher / ONLINE

Kyra Chetcuti (BA Hons Dance and Performance, AIDTA, PGCE.) joined Helen O'Grady Academy in 2015.

Kyra grew up in Dubai, where her love for the Performing Arts grew immensely. She went on to study Dance and Performance at Buckinghamshire New University in the U.K. She has since been working as a Primary school Drama teacher in Malta for over 5 years. 

Kyra loves the energy that is seen in the Helen O'Grady lessons and seeing the children grow into confident and creative characters. Kyra is now also teaching our wonderful dance classes as well as drama.
